We Can Direct Bill Your Insurance
Our clinic can direct bill most eye care insurance plans. Unfortunately, there are still some eye care insurance plans and employers that do not offer direct billing options. If this is the case with your insurance provider, we will provide you with duplicate original copies of your receipts to ensure that you can bill both your primary and secondary insurance plan, plus retain a copy for your records. These can either be printed or emailed to you.

Insurance is considered a method of reimbursing the patient for fees paid to the doctor or the doctor for services performed on the patient and is not a substitute for payment. Some companies pay fixed allowances for certain procedures and others pay a percentage of the charge. It is your responsibility to pay any deductible amount, co-insurance or any other balance not paid by your insurance.
If you have already maximized your vision benefits for a particular billing cycle under Alberta Health Care, you will be responsible for any clinic fees. The Alberta Health Care billing cycle is from July 1 to June 30; please notify our office staff if you have received any eye care between these dates at another eye care clinic so that we can provide you with an accurate estimate for your consultation.
